UCLouvain in Vietnam: 20 years of excellence, science and human connections

From March 31 to April 3, 2025, UCLouvain made its mark on the state visit to Vietnam.

A partnership that sets an example

For over 20 years, UCLouvain has forged strong ties with Vietnamese universities. This partnership, which began in 2004, has grown over time, with significant milestones: academic missions, pioneering dual degrees, and long-term institutional support. Today, this collaboration extends across the country.

Science, knowledge and diplomacy

During the recent state visit, UCLouvain affirmed its leadership role in academic cooperation. Meetings with the Ministers of Education and Science, visits to the University of Hanoi and the Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), the signing of a new partnership between the Hanoi School of Business and Management and UCLouvain Saint-Louis, not to mention the inauguration of two new Alumni chapters in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City: all key moments in strengthening a strategic relationship based on knowledge.
