Starting in September, UCLouvain graduates will benefit from a preferential rate to attend a selection of shows at the Théâtre Jean Vilar in Louvain-la-Neuve. This exclusive offer is made possible thanks to a partnership between the university's Culture Unit and the Vilar team.

A theater rooted in the university city

The Jean Vilar Theatre is much more than a cultural venue: it is an integral part of the history of Louvain-la-Neuve. Founded in 1968 by Armand Delcampe under the name Atelier théâtral, it has supported the intellectual and artistic life of the young city since its inception. In 1979, it moved to the heart of the city center, into a building originally designed to house a university restaurant.

Today, the Vilar has been transformed: renovated, expanded and modernized, it offers an ambitious program, open to all audiences – students, residents, curious passers-by – and regularly collaborates with UCLouvain through various joint cultural projects.

For the 2025-2026 season, UCLouvain alumni can attend a selection of 14 shows at the preferential price of 20 euros per ticket (instead of 24 euros).
